CLASSIC BLEND TRANSPARENCY

Theme & Olfactory Families

Determining the fragrance family or character.

Blending the Accord

Mixing the top, middle, and base notes in carefully calculated proportions to create what is known as a perfume "Accord" (the harmonious core scent).

Dilution

Adding alcohol (usually Denatured Alcohol / Alcohol Denat) and distilled water to dilute the essential oils, which helps diffuse the scent and makes it sprayable.

Maturation & Maceration

Leaving the perfume mixture for a period (ranging from weeks to months) in a dark, cool place. This allows the ingredients to blend, bind together, and achieve olfactory harmony.

Filtering & Bottling

Filtering the matured liquid to remove any precipitates or impurities, followed by filling it into the final perfume bottles.
